Adventure Time cover concepts

Some early rough design ideas for the cover I'm doing for the first Adventure Time annual. I swear, everytime I put pencil to paper, it's a struggle trying to get the ideas out of my head to look correct. I know that's the struggle for any artist. Just that it's not a fun process for me. So much better to write and tell more capable artists what to draw. Instead, I'm my own worst enemy...telling *me* what to draw. heh
