Mascot Process 1

A quick lil process to a recent commission for a website mascot. The buyer wanted something like a demon or a goblin.

Usually it depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes with commissions, I'll have an exact idea in mind and it's left more up to me. I'll just have at it and draw up a finished inked piece as is. But other times, I'll draw up some quick thumbnail sketches (usually like 4-6) so that it can be decided upon.

In this instance, jeez I drew up like 12 different ones. Got a little carried away trying to twist and contort different shapes and ideas.

So anyways, this was the first step...crappy lil quick sketch drawings by col-erase blue pencil, with each one only an inch or two in size.
