Description
This was a piece that was originally drawn before work started on Ares. I think it was a scene Travel sort of saw as a father and son retreat, training his son as only a god of war can. It's only fitting that the series did end with father and son in Africa.
So consider this a sort of sendoff piece to the Ares mini-series. Thank you to all the readers that picked up the book on their own, or becoming interested in it through my posts here on deviantArt.

I gave you the long-winded version on my other post, so I'll make this one brief. This composition is great work by pencilier and inker. The idea behind is it amazing. The father and son come in contact with annother father and son, like a mirror image of what Ares would be like as an elephant. Wartorn, proud, and protective.
